The Pros and Cons
We loved staying here. Here are the pros and cons of our stay here. We were in the middle of town within walking distance to Starbucks and a couple different restaurants as well as a grocery store and a park. The amenities were great! Our room was very clean and they gave us extra towels when we asked for them. The shower pressure and hot water were great. Our only problem was we were right across from the ice machine and every night except maybe one night someone would come and get ice between 11 pm and 2 am in the morning. How rude are people getting ice at 1 am in the morning? So that woke us up every night. On our last night there, I thought to myself "why didnt we ask to be moved?" But we didnt. Overall it was a great place to stay. However do youself a favor, if you are near the ice machine ask to have your room moved, because people dont know how to NOT be rude.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Be sure to go to "The Red Parrot" and the restaurant across the street, "Papas Restaurant". Make sure you go to "Ripleys auquarium" located out a Broadway at the Beach.

Enjoyed our stay
We spent 4 days at this hotel. The location of the hotel was very good and our room looked straight out onto the beach. The room was adequate and the patio doors were badly in need of replacement, in fact they could only be opened with great difficulty. The other aspect I didnt like was that we were in a separate block to the main hotel and the lifts were on an outside block which I was never happy using at night. Otherwise, the reception staff were excellent and towards the weekend there were a lot of security staff about. I wouldnt have a problem staying there again.
I would recommend this hotel for families as they had plenty of garden area and a very large swimming area for children along with a lazy river.
