Well located upscale hotel

The hotel is well located a 15 minute walk to train station. Good places to eat in the area. A very good experience, I would definitely stay at the Hilton Brussels again.

Great location

Both the metro and the tram are within walking distance. Walk to the Grand Place takes about 20 minutes. Concierge very helpful and informative. Avoid buffet breakfast at the hotel, though it has a very good selection, it is way too expensive.

Traveler's tip on dining

Eat where the locals eat. Avoid tourist traps. Restaurants that solicit your patronage and menus in 4 languages are tourist traps and their food are mediocre at best. Restaurants with menus in French or Dutch often have the best Belgian food. Waiters usually speak English well and will be able to describe the menu.

good value for price paid

After having read multiple reviews from various websites, most of them negative, I had some apprehension. The hotel, however, is first class. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was rather basic but comfortable enough and a good value booked through expedia. There were no extra charges on our bill, we did not use any additional services as they were all very expensive. We would prefer a hotel that includes internet and some sort of breakfast although we did have a free coffee pot in the room and we bought pastries the night before in town. Decent location by Louise metro stop, three stops from gare du midi.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Within a few blocks there are supermarkets, sandwich shops and grocery stores. Access to surrounding neighborhoods by way of the metro and tram very near the hotel.
