good place
loud nopise from hooligans outside of hotel (our room was facing the street side), but otherwiise ok. Expensive, but then where can you stay in Paris that is not expensive and have cooking facilities?

Aside from urine smell in the bathroom, perfect
We were a bit shocked upon arrival to find the bathroom (with toilet only, the bath/shower being in a separate room) smelling like urine. The mattress (foam, not spring) was extremely comfortable, the dishwasher worked well, and everything else was fine.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
There’s a supermarket on the corner and an excellent restaurant, La Lanterne, in a nearby street (expensive but a great bargain considering the quality). Note that fine restaurants open at 7 .M. for dinner.

Home away from Home
This hotel is situated in a neighborhood and has apartment-style rooms, very nice for feeling as though you are at home and interacting with the "real" population of Paris instead of simply being a tourist. A nice, different look on the city.
