Nice Resort, but BE WARNED!
The facilities were nice and we really liked the Lodge location next to the beach and away from the hustle and bustle of the main resort. The pool complex was nice and the kids enjoyed the stay! BUT, our car (and several others) were broken into while parked in the "security patrolled" parking lot IN the resort. The target was GAS...they broke into the gas tanks and siphoned gas, but broke gas doors and damaged body and paint in the process. We notified the Resort security and they told us that they had no repsonsibility. I understood that and did not EXPECT them to be responsible. BUT they refused to call the police and told me it was my responsibility to report the crime...even though SEVERAL cars were broken into on the property. I called the cops and they came out for the report. The police were NOT SURPRISED that the resort didnt call to report the crime and the police officer claimed that the Resort had a history of failing to report criminal activity on the property. After several attempts to report the problem the property manager had a representative discuss the issue with me. They were not very helpful initially, but they did finally offer to pay for the repairs to my vehicle when I threatened to notify their insurance carrier of their failure to report criminal activity. So, Be careful and know that the resort security is questionable. Finally, BEWARE of the "RESORT FEE" that you will get hit with that is NOT on the expedia quote.

Was very disapointed
This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. It was much nicer when we stayed in 2005. The staff was very rude and the hotels interior was not very well maintained. There was stains on the carpet in our room and it felt dirty. I have been in motels in the side of I-95 that were cleaner than this. We returned because our first stay in 2005 was so wonderful, but I doubt we will returning again.
