Okay but not impressed
the room was clean but very dated. The fixtures in the sink and tub were very rusty and very old. The service at the front desk was very polite and freinedly. The rooms need an update the furniture was very worn.

Fair at best
As we drove up the entrance into this beutiful,picturesque facility. I had great expectations for our upcoming accomidations.However the aged and thin walled rooms left us disappointed in the end. The accomidations need an upgrade. Treetops resort was fair at best!

Quiet comfort
The room was quiet and comfortable, knotty pine paneling on one wall. Computers in the lobby with broadband service, also a Starbucks cafe in the lobby that did not open in the morning as we expected. The only flaw in the room condition was a 4-inch round hole in the carpet in front of the sink, rather noticeable in an otherwise clean room.But overall, the hotel was situated in very scenic countryside.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Tim’s Pub in downtown Gaylord: great atmosphere with the genuine log walls ans chinking, subdued lighting. Could use a wider variety of beers, especially microbrews.
