not impressed at all
price to high for classw of hotel,no small towels,wash cloths,window shade broken,vending did not work and did not refund money.there was no continental breakfast.

would not stay there again
Attendant was asleep at 7:00 PM when we arrived. We did not fill out any paperwork. Attendant was not there for check-out following AM

Upon check in had to go get towels, clothes hangars, soap, and coffee. Units do not have a/c and Tahoe temps were high 80’s, consequently you had to leave windows open at night. Other tenants very loud and inconsiderate on balconies talking at 10:30 pm up till 1:30 am. No one in office to complain to. Office opens 8 am, no one there prior which makes checkout questionable, we left the keys in our room and figure they would check us out (not available on tv). No maid service, on our last day we called to ask if they ever clean rooms, make beds, exchange towels, etc. We were told you had to hang a sign on door requesting such, however, there were no signs in room to hang. Continental breakfast consists of a pitcher of juice, package of cheap cinnamon rolls from market and a basket of strawberries that were not washed. The only coffee they had for rooms was decaf - if you went and asked for room coffee, it was never taken to room.

The few dollars you save are not worth the aggravation of staying at the Avalon Lodge.
