Nice hotel but small room
Hotel is really nice- close to downtown Canmore, good breakfast, clean rooms. However, the queen room we had was VERY small- only a narrow strip of walkway around the bed.

Very comfortable
Great sleeping on a comfortable bed. The Single Queen room is a bit small though.

Too small
Room was so small we could not turn around in it. Checked out the next day.

Best free breakfast I have ever had
The room we had was a little small but nice and clean. It’s good enough for just sleeping for the night. I had the best free breakfast I have ever had here. It’s great. They put some newspaper and national park information on the bed. That was very nice and helpful for planning our trip.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
They charge $ if you park your car in the garage. We parked right outside on the streets. It was nice and free, but it might be because it wasn’t the busiest season yet. I assume it will be harder to find a place in the high season.

Great Value and Amazing Surroundings
Great value for the location. Your 15 minutes to two hours to over seven ski resorts. We stayed in a queen suite. The kitchen had everything to make meals with. You have underground garage ($5 a day) with ski lockers. Great for the winter time, your car stays warm and dry. I will stay here again when I go skiing up there again.

Clean, New, Small...
Windtower is a good bet if you want to save money, but still stay in a clean and modern hotel. It seemed very new and the basement parking deck below was a warm way to get to your hotel in the winter. This is a good base for Banff National Park, about 7 minutes up the road. The town of Banff is about 20 minutes away. Canmoore downtown is about 3-5 minutes away. The buffet breakfast is very good, examples: waffles, french toast, eggs, bacon, fruit, much much more. The room we stayed in was clean and normally appointed, but VERY small. The King bed took up 80-90% of the floor space. 2 kids and 2 adults would be too cramped for our size room. I would recommend this hotel.
