Disappointed to some extent
Air conditioning did not work last day of stay; rooms need updating - good points though was the restaurant service & food; free valet parking

Great People
The service was great and a great area and hotel as far as hospitality and anything that you needed even if it was pancakes on the buffet for breakfast they got it for you. Although as far as breakfast, I would have thought the breakfast would have been free. Overall besides that its great!!

Breakfast should be free. Too expensive to pay for breakfast everyday if you are there for two or more days.

good hotel for the money
The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. The major drawback to this hotel was the flight pattern of the jets overhead. About every 15 minutes, jets would fly by and as they passed you could not hear the person next to you. This continued from 9:00 am until 10:00 pm.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The Tall Ship harbor cruise out of Norfolk was informative and worth the money. We took an hour and a half cruise ($14 adult; $8 child) in a sailboat called the American Rover. Both adults and teenagers enjoyed the ride.
