Good basic lodging
The Vime Gamma is near the Lambrate train station and metro stop which makes it convenient toi public transportation although it is quite far from the city center. The neighborhood isn’t the best but what can you expect if you don’t want to spend a fortune on a hotel room in Milan? The hotel staff were friendly, the room was clean but small with a nice bathroom. You will have to pay for internet access, but at least it wasn’t as expensive as at an internet cafe.
In Milan it’s hard to find anything that’s affordable, but if you want a good lunch or dinner that isn’t fancy, try the Brek restaurant cafeteria near the San Babila metro stop (across the street and behind the shops).

Look for another place to stay
Just not a good place to spend time even if it is cheap no AC, they lie and say "No Internet" when there is in fact internet...and once you final squeeze it out of them that there is internet they chager a ridiculous amt for it! find another place ASAP!

its in good location
next to the metro station, but weird neighborhood, but we didn’t encounter any problems 2 girls by alone... it’s very cheap and pretty clean, which was important for us to continue staying there.
