The nicest, most helpful staff!!!!
The hotel was very nice and clean. Located on a private beach and 20 minutes walk into town. Great place for families. The outdoor breakfast cafe was breathtaking. I can’t wait to go back!
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Take the all day boat ride offered at the dock. You can swim and dive for 8 hours. They even prepare a 3 course meal for you on the boat. A very chill and relaxing way to spend the day.

More of a Group Hotel
A bit outside of the old town of Alghero, the Calabona is by itself (no other hotels, restaurants, etc.). It seems to cater more to groups than individuals. The swimming pool is not heated. The facilities are fine and the staff is friendly. A 10-minute walk brings you into the old town.
