Ideal for one night
Hotel is ideal for one night stay in Bologna if you are plan to see a concert in the venue "Estragon / Palanord ". That was mine reason why I stayed there because the hotel is just 800m far away from that venue. Major problems of hotel is cleanliness of the lobby, reception, and awful elevator. Carpets in the lobby, reception and elevator smells pretty badly and they are dirty. Hotel is located in one of the major entrance of the city so you can see major prostitution problem in front of the hotel. Not nice for family with the kids. Best part of the room is the bathroom which is freshly renovated. This is typical 3* star hotel. Burger King fast food is located across the hotel for a late night meal.

Paid for a nights sleep we never got
Usually I have nice things to say about every hotel, but in this case, I need to advise travelers to stay away. While the rooms themselves (we got two triples) were roomy and clean, albeit tacky in their decor, the fact is that this hotel should be closed for business unless they can get their air conditioning to work to the point where the windows do not have to kept open even an inch. Even though the air temp outside was only in the 40s/50s the night we stayed, we were placed on upper floors facing the main street, despite my request that we receive the quietest rooms possible. The noise was horrendous. Manual transmissions revving up after hitting the stop light below were unbearable to listen to. And when that was not enough, the train crashing through the rail yard below repeatedly through the night was a horrible awakener. We tried closing windows, but the rooms heated up immediately. Although the front desk below was very nice in helping us with internet access, I am disappointed that my requests for rooms close together, and quiet, were completely ignored. The rooms were on separate floors, and their location could not have been worse for noise.
