Not the best hotel to stay at the room window was filthy, the deadbolt did not work on the door, the operable window would barely open, the non smoking room was situated on a smoking floor. The room still smelled of smoke. The only postive thing to say was the free breakfast was good, scrambled eggs, waffles, cereal, muffins, pastries more that what most hotels serve.

I have enjoyed everything here.
I had lived in Ann Arbor for over 15 years before I moved. So I know how to go around in this town. The location of the hotel is the best for any business in this town: walking distance to Briarwood Mall and great restaurants. Only 10 minute drive to every important spots in town and the highway I-94 is within 100 feet away and still so quiet that you cannot tell it is there. The hotel charges surprizingly low price for the quality and service. You would never get this quality and service even within this city limit. Breakfast is excellent for free. Although I had no chance to eat dinner at the hotel, they serve free hot dinner. I like the cleanliness of the room. You may not get Marriot quality linens, but it is clean as what you have at home for the price. I thanked the housekeeping service because my room service was impeccable. I had such a great comfortable time because I stayed in this hotel. It is in clean neighborhood, not that there is any dirty neighborhood in Ann Arbor. When I go back, this is going to be my hotel from now on.
Traveler's tip on dining
For upscale dining, try on Main street restaurant. It wouldn’t hurt to dress up for some of them. Parking is relatively easy on the street or use the structure. Monagolian Barbecue is another casual place to enjoy. Street parking is always free after 6 PM on the meter. Walk around State street-Liberty street intersection and have a dissert and walk through UM Diagonal from there and comeback. There are all within a half a mile at most walk.
