Good place in Florence
I liked this hotel a lot-- it was a very short walk from the train station and also very close to "downtown" Florence. Breakfast is included, so you don’t get hit with additional fees at the end. No elevator, but after climbing the steps at the Tower, the steps in the hotel shouldn’t be a problem. I would definitely stay here again.

Horrible place to stay
the hotel is very old and has poor condition. The room has no air conditioning and the bathroom is quite small that one person almost can not stand in it.. During the shower, the water can run out to the bedroom...the room facing the streets is quite noisy and you will feel you are sleeping on the streets in the nite. Highly not recommended to stay in this hotel.

Excellent location for sightseeing
The hotel was centrally located for sightseeing. It was a short walk to the Duomo. No elevator, so you will climb stairs to your room. The breakfast and coffee were wonderful in the morning. Rooms were very clean and the bathroom was tiny, but always very clean.
Traveler's tip on dining
Za-Za’s had amazingly good food. It is 5 minutes from the hotel in front of Mercato Centrale. Try any of their beef dishes.
