What to expect: With a private beach, and a beachfront wedding chapel, this lush resort offers couples an ideal romantic destination. In addition to the Mayan Riviera views, guests can enjoy a variety of daily activities and on-site nightlife entertainment. A range of restaurants are included in the All-Inclusive packages, and many guests take advantage of extensive concierge services.
Amenity highlights: This luxury resort stretches along more than a mile of private beach. There are 11 pools on site, including a large, beachside saltwater pool, and four pools with swim-up bars reserved for guests of the casita section. A full-service on-site spa offers everything from facials to open-air massages. Seven on-site restaurants and 15 bars help to sate the appetites.
Insider tip: Although guests need to hire taxis to get there, the quiet village of Puerto Morelos 7 km (4.5 mi) from the resort offers a glimpse of what this coastal area used to be before major resort developments arrived.

All suites include balconies or ground-floor terraces with hammock-like teak chairs and full hammocks. All suites feature marble floors and hardwood furniture, with marble countertops and flooring in the bathrooms. Jetted tubs in windowed bedroom alcoves furnish relaxation. Decor features light-colored walls and ceilings and Mexican-style dark-wood furniture. Bathrobes provide lounging comfort. Ceiling fans offer cooling alternatives to suites' air conditioning.

The resort stretches along a mile long private beach on the Mexican Carribean. In addition to the Caribbean Sea, swimming options include a 30.5-by-15.25-meter (100-by-50-ft) saltwater pool.
Freshwater swimming is available in the other 10 on-site pools.
The resort provides snorkeling gear, pedal boats, and kayaks. An independent operator in the main pool provides introductory scuba-diving lessons, and the operator also offers scuba diving and snorkeling instruction and excursions for surcharges. Other recreational opportunities include two lighted tennis courts (racquets and balls provided) and bicycles.
Moon Palace golf course is 20 km (12.5 mi) from the resort, and Playacar golf course is 27 km (17 mi).
