Amazing romantic getaway

We were upgraded for free upon arrival, complimentary drinks & canapes served each night in the library & the pool is amazing!

Not worth a long haul trip

My husband and I visited the Chedi for four nights - from London. While it seems like a good place to spend a couple of days if you’re doing business in the Middle East--it’s definitely not worth a long haul trip. The hotel is nice - as are the pools - but the beach is rocky and not very pretty. The hotel is also in the middle of an industrial center - so don’t expect to go walking or exploring from the resort. You have to travel pretty far to get to any of the natural wonders of Muscat.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Also- the hotel operates on a tier system - so don’t expect to use certain amenities such as the library unless you are staying in one of the suites or villas. Also, for such a large resort--the gym is tiny - and always crowded.
