It’s ok
Location was good because my family is close . It is more like an apartment building than a hotel.

Nice.
This hotel had a 2 minute walking distance to the hospital. The room was very large and comfortable. The pool was nice. The spa had no water in it??? However, it wasn’t a big deal to us. The restaurant is beautiful and the breakfast is fantastic. They have a cook to order omelette chef right there at the buffet. The waitress was very nice to us. Nice and quiet and that’s what we needed.

Great for hospital visitors
Kendall is very convenient for Baptist Health Hospital visitors as it has a regular shuttle to the various wings and is really walking distance anyway. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well air-conditioned and the staff is very friendly and helpful. There were a few minor problems (elevator down button not working, ice machine not working on some floors) but by and large it was fine.
Miami street signs are often inadequate and street names can be confusing. Most street or avenue numbers or names are prefixed with either NW (Northwest) or SW (Southwest) due apparently to application of some overly rigid renaming scheme. My rental car return, for example, was on "NW South River Street". SW 40th st is nowhere near NW 40th st and there could be a SW 40 ave and NW 40th ave as well, all some distance from each other and probably not connected. Take careful note of whether the road you want is NW or SW and whether it is a street or an avenue or you may end up in totally the wrong section of town.
