Never go there. Worst hotel to try
We stayed there for 2 days. The staff is very rude, the rooms are dirty. We had some towels with red/brown stain on them. There was no AC in the room. The window doesn’t close completely, and doesn’t lock so anyone from the street can sneak into the rooms. The pictures advertised look much better than reality. After the first night, we asked to check out, and not stay the other night, and they didn’t refund the room for the second night, it’s their policy. I’ve been to over 150 hotels in my life, and this is the worst. DO NOT STAY THERE.

Near beach, lots of extras, homey
This was a quiet hotel which skewed toward the 30 and over crowd. Great complimentary wine and cheese offering in the afternoons, port at night and a decent breakfast selection. The rooms were a little dusty and the bath products were so so but spacious. Very close to State Street start and the pier, bike path, and beach. Courtyard with swimming pool was nice. Minimal parking but they made street permits available. Staff was friendly and eager to recommend things. Overall a nice stay in a simple, sweet, homey hotel.

HUGE dump!!!
Hotel: Villa Rosa Location: Santa Barbara Type of Trip: Leisure How satisfied were you with the... Would you recommend this hotel to others as a place to stay? No Review Title: A real dump! Hotel Review: No manager was on duty upon arrival, we were asked to call for him to arrive from elsewhere. A loud party of 20 or so drunken college students were next door, the place reeked of cigarette smoke and there were 2 police cars out front trying to restore order. At a huge price per night, we had mismatched flea market furniture,ugly tired decor, weird uncomfortable bathroom. The place was a disaster and totally misrepresented in the copy. Avoid this place. Lots of noise!
The room was very noisy in the morning - from 6:30 am on, with on odd noise coming from inside the wall behind and above the bed added to the very clear and loud sounds coming in from the hallway.
