Shockingly Good
We never expect great service at a cheap hotel, but this place has it. The people at the Reception Desk were very friendly and helpful. The room was big and comfortable. It was very close to UMass. Great shopping and eats behind the hotel at the Hampshire Mall and the Mountain Farms Mall. Highly recommended.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
I’m a vegetarian so it was wonderful to have Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s next to the hotel. Even if you aren’t a vegetarian, those grocery stores have high quality food.

A Nice Place to Stay
The staff were friendly. The motel is new, so things look nice. It’s a budget hotel/motel, but it’s perfect for the price. You even get a little breakfast thrown in.

A room at the lodge
My son lives in the area and doesn’t have room when the whole family gets together. The Econolodge is the perfect ’extra bedroom’ while we visit. Very comfortable and clean. Friendly, welcoming staff. A definite return reservation.
