Nice, Cozy Hotel
Very quaint hotel, nice breakfast, clean bathrooms. It was nice being a little out of town and away from the crazy traffic and parking.

Beautiful Hotel
This was a very nice hotel just outside the city. The room was nicely furnished and comfortable. The staff was friendly and spoke good english. They were happy to give us maps and directions. The breakfast was filling and yummy. This was a great hotel, I highly recommend it.

Best value in Bologna!
We agonized about which hotel to stay in for our one-night trip to Bologna. We chose this one because of other positive user reviews, and we were not disappointed! It’s truly a 4-star hotel at 2-3 star rates! Nice grounds, very nice room, and good friendly service. And the buffet breakfast has to be the best I’ve ever experienced anywhere! Fresh meats, cheeses, fruits, and breads; a unique orange-juicing machine had us going back for numerous cups of fresh juice; and an incredible assortment of cakes and pastries! You won’t need lunch after eating here! Also, the restaurant on the hotel grounds prepared an excellent dinner with good service. As for location, the hotel is a couple of kilometers from the central historic district, but it’s a quick and easy busride, and better than trying to negotiate the city streets in a car. Our only minor complaint is with the uncomfortable toilet seat, which seems to be the standard across norther Italy. But otherwise a first-rate experience.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Bologna isn’t the most scenic Italian city, but go to the Information office in the Piazza Maggiore for a half-day tour pamphlet with a list of the major attractions. Our favorites were the 2 major basilicas. The one on the Piazza Maggiore is ugly on the outside, but mind-blowing on the inside. And the one on Piazza Santo Stefano had medieval-looking rooms and chanting monks!
