Wasn’t the best
The Hotel was very old and the parking lot was filled with pot holes. Thank goodness it was a rental car not mine. The people were friendly but it is time to remodel that hotel.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
University of Michigan has an awesome natural history museum open to the public. I suggest people check it out!

Dilapidated Motel
The motel leaves alot to be desired. From the filthy lobby to the dark and unkept rooms, it is quite undesirable. During my very, very short time there, the air conditioning was shut off and only heating was available during the day with the temperature reaching 77 degrees. The control knobs on the air conditioning unit were broken off also. The room was extremely damp and moldy. The staff could not accomodate our request to change motels- thoiugh they were extremely friendly. There are very fine hotels within a few miles from there - they are definitely worth the extra $ with their modern and clean rooms and wonderful buffet breakfast. Remember that you get what you pay for...

Basic but functional
If you’re even considering this place, then you’re clearly okay with no frills. This place has no glaring problems: the rooms were clean and stuff mostly worked. Well, not the alarm clock, and the shower sometimes spewed in odd directions, but nothing we couldn’t deal with. As cheap hotels go, this one is fine.
