Hooligans and fire
The hotel and its employees were pretty much OK. As we got ready to go to bed around 10PM we looked out the window and there were a group of 15-20 hooligans in the parkling lot behind the hotel drinking, whooping it up, setting fire to the wooden pallets. About midnight we were awoken by the sound of very loud sex from the same vicinity. Other than that, it was great!
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
make sure you go to the Giants Causeway, great trip and you can hit the distillery on the way.

An ok. hotel
The Hotel is located across Victoria Station and few blocks from the opera and pubs. The staff at the reception desk were very helpful.

no wi-fi despite promised service
This is a hotel with a great location on the edge of downtown Belfast, cheaper than others and nice and clean though rather bare-bones. But if youre expecting wi-fi access, forget it. The staff told me it regularly goes out and often when its "fixed" it doesnt stay fixed and the signal doesnt reach the upper floors. Theres a coin-operated internet terminal in the lobby, but its a distant second-best to using your own laptop in your own room and is expensive (10 minutes for a pound sterling).

Stay somewhere else
The hotel service left more than a little to be desired. During our stay there were several sports teams in the hotel making in virtually impossible to get into the restaurant for breakfast or dinner, and since our stay was over a major football match, going out to dinner was impossible. When searching for alternative solutions we were told very little about local restaurants and no accomodations were made for us as at all. Location leaves much to be desired as well. While within walking distance of downtown, it boarders on an old loyalist neighborhood making me extremely uncomfortable. Overall, I would suggest staying in the more expensive hotels on the main road.

I would stay there again.
The airlines lost our luggage and the staff at the hotel was very helpful. They gave us some toiletries that saved the day. The staff was very friendly and compassionate. We were also allowed to check in early which helped with the stressful situation.
