Enjoyable short stay
Stayed two days in late October 2008. Vacation on the way home after a long trip. Good location. Deluxe room worth a few bucks extra. Centrally located and good for relaxation.
Traveler's tip on dining
Dinner at the Red Ochre Cafe was great (kangaroo filet done perfectly). Go early with a reservation and save a bit.

In the heart of the town
The hotel was conveniently located in the center of town. The staff were very helpful and accomodating. The rooms are a little worn (maybe I was in the old part of the hotel) but very clean and comfortable enough. Pick up for tours and airport transport right in front. I’d stay there again and recommend it to others.

Okay for Alice Springs
The hotel was actually pretty nice considering the other options at Alice Springs. Since we weren’t there for very long, we didn’t take much care in choosing a hotel to begin with. The hotel staff were very helpful. The hotel is very centrally located. There is pool although we didn’t use it. The rooms weren’t great - small and a little dark, but were fine.
