Best hotel in Mellieha
Pros: Great location, good service, very comfortable rooms. Good selection at the breakfast buffet. Cons: Expensive WIFI service. Caters to large groups when I was there lots of teenage football teams staying, luckily most were well behaved but they just love to ride up and down in the lifts.

yes--and be ready to be firm with what you want
My room was spacious and light--a great room over looking the garden. I got a real view room by insisting that the view of the street was not a view room! I was disappointed that internet availability in the room meant paying for the service--and I found I had to negotiate to get what I felt had been promised. In the end I got what I wanted. Location was right at the bus stop. i didn’t feel the management was that great--or front desk that friendly--seemed to be a lot of stress.

Wonderful
Hotel was great, excellent quality rooms, facilities were wonderful and half board was certainly worth it (desserts were spectacular). Bus stop in front of the hotel and it was a 1 hour bus ride from Valetta but 3 bus stops from the best clear water sandy beach on the island!!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Be sure to see the Hypogeum (book ahead online weeks in advance)! Use the buses!! They are a cheap, easy and fun way to get around.
