Below normal standards
I have booked various hotels online through Expeidia. I have never had problems before, but this hotel was substandard as far as conditions. My room smelled like stale smoke so I complained at to the front desk (I have asthma). I was told emphatically that the room was non-smoking and that no person ever smoked in there. Five minutes after this converstation, my husband found an ashtray on the dresser and my daughter found a cigarette hole in the bed sheet. Addtionally, the hallways were musty smelling and the paint on the backside of the building was peeling. My mother-in-law, who was in another room, compared her blanket to a crib blanket (half the size of the queen size bed). Her room did not smell like smoke, but instead smelled like an overpowering car freshener. I would not stay at a Knights Inn ever again and my advise to those people considering this hotel would be to pay more money and get a better hotel

over priced. Seems more like a motel than a hotel.
