Lovely Hotel
The service at this hotel was unbelievable. Everyone was so helpful and happy to be there. The food at the restaurants you make reservations for was outstanding however, the food at the snack bars and the non-reservation restaurants was just good. The hotel itself is really beautiful and offers a variety of activities for everyone. Thank you Sandos! P.S. don’t get stuck in a timeshare presentation....

Like a Dead Skunk, Avoid One Thing!
The Caracol is a definite 3 star hotel. I’m withholding a full review and wether we’d recomend to others at this time, because of an unresolved incident that occured during our stay in october. One thing i can tell you is the hotel allows the time share vultures, which work in the lobby, to steal a day of your vacation from you under false pretences.We were told "it’s not a timeshare", we were told it’s an opportunity to visit our sister property, spend the day, have lunch,swim, etc. It was a 90 minute high presure sales pitch that lasted 3hours.4 1/2 from pick-up to drop-off.At one point we stood up to leave cause they were’nt taking no for an answere, and were told to sit down cause they would’nt get paid and we would’nt get our promised gifts if they did’nt go over the "numbers".We did’nt get our gifts and had no time to experience the hotel and left feeling taken. How this is viewed and handled by the hotel Caracol will determine my final review.
