could not wait to pack
i was given a room inthe basement and when i complained they advised that there were no other rooms and that many people prefer the basement rooms. the rooms were below the sidewalk and if you dared to open the blinds you were in full view so that in the am you were staying in a box. front desk was incredibly rude. i paid a a 4 star price for a 1/2 star room. it would have been impossible to find a less desirable room in all of portland

great location, too expensive
The hotel is charming, the rooms are nice, the bathroom was very nice, and the location is perfect... but the prices are too high.
