Very Convenient To Six Flags
We stayed at this hotel so we could be close to Six Flags and not have to park. This was a very nice hotel. Soft, clean bed linens (no icky bedspread - it was a cotton coverlet, yay!) and very comfy pillows. The bathroom was clean and there was actually good coffee in a single serve pod coffee maker - A definite plus+. The hot tub area was clean as well as the pool, and the breakfast had a good variety. The only drawback was on the last day the hotel staff was hiding the fruit from the breakfast bar. It was still in the stock room beside the breakfast area. I asked the attendant what was going on with the fruit and he said the manager told him there may not be enough for everyone so dont put it out. I talked to the manager then, and I asked if I could have just one banana (there were a few bunches there) and he gave me two and apologized. So it was ok after all.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
If you park here you can walk about a block to Six Flags and not have to pay parking! saved us about $20.00 plus the energy of having to look for our parking space. and We got to go to the room and take a little break when the weather was really really hot. That was nice.

Not for longer stays
If youre looking only for a place to stay while you visit Six Flags, this may be the place. Walking distance to the park, wireless internet, clean motel, nice outdoor pool. The breakfast was pretty good, with make-your-own waffles and eggs, sausage, cereal. However in a two week stay I never once saw any yogurt, and only rarely fruit. If you are coming to Atlanta for business, I would stay somewhere else. The exercise room has three machines, only one works. My bathroom sink drain was very slow, as another reviewer mentions earlier. Guest laundry had more broken machines than working, and the soap vending machine took my money without giving me my soap. The only food nearby is the burger place with the red-headed spokesgirl.

Not really close but worth the drive is Gumbeauxs A Cajun Cafe at 6712 Broad St in Douglasville
