Fabulous View
Our room was on the 19th floor and had an incredible view of both sets of falls. The hotel room was nice, I think the view made it worth the money. It was lacking in the extras we normally find in hotels, like a mini refrigerator and coffee maker, which would be great additions, but the view made it a great place to relax and enjoy the view at all hours. The location was VERY convenient to everything that you would want to do in the Niagara area. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others. The views are probably best from the higher floors.
Traveler's tip on dining
We had a bit of trouble finding a good bottle of wine, and a fancier restaurant to celebrate our anniversary, unless you like the local wines, but after some searching, we found some fabulous Italian and Steakhouse restaurants in the new casino next to the OAKES and a great bar Falls & Firkin with a super friendly staff and a nice view too!!

Pricy for the amenities
It was a nice hotel with a great view, but nothing special for the price. No in room coffee maker, or refrigerator. No continental breakfast. No stamps at the front desk to mail a post card from Niagara Falls. The jetted tub wouldnt hold water, the heater in our bedroom didnt work, so we had to turn up the sitting room temperature for heat. The worst part was being told at check-in that we had to pay $15 dollars a night to park in the hotels lot. With the room rate and no amenities, parking should be included. If you just want a view and an old bed, it will do.
Traveler's tip on dining
Dont go to the IHOP for breakfast unless you are willing to spend $50 for two people. Ouch! Do take the Maid of the Mist boat ride! Great trip and reasonable price.
