Great place to stay !
I have stayed at Toby’s twice and will be staying again in Dec.09.Always has been clean and well maintained. Try the resturant , food quality was excellent both times.And the host’s remember you, and I remember Mr. Brown. An excellent place to stay for the night or a week.

Not a 4 store appearance but 4 star service
For a weekend getaway Toby’s is ideal. The staff was most accommodating except for them being a bit confused about my reservation. I did have a few ants in my bathroom, but to have somewhere to just sit by the ball and chill out...it was perfect. If you just want to get away from the hustle and bustle and are not looking for a resort vacation then give Toby’s a try. Michael makes some pretty good drinks so be sure and ask for him.

Perfect little hotel for a short stay
Toby resort is a small hotel in a great location. You can walk to a beach across the street or 5 minuts to fabulous Doctor’s Cave Beach. It is also within walking distance to clubs and shops along the main drag in Montego Bay. I usully stay at Toby resort for just 1 night due to its proximity to the airport. If you are staying in Negril or Ocho Rios for most of your trip, its a great place to stay the night before your flight home to avoid having to wake up at the crack of dawn and rush to the airport. They have 2 pools (the one near the very good restaurant is especially pretty.) The rooms are clean and attractive and most famous a center courtyard with the pool. My only complaint was that our air conditioner was not strong enough---a problem I have had even in expensive popular resorts elsewhere in Jamaica. Their restaurant provides room service (something that some high end all-inclusives do not.) This is a clean, quiet, safe, well-priced hotel good for a short inexpensive stay.
