Perfect location with all I could expect for a pleasant, romantic, visit to Cartagena
After seeing other hotels in Cartagena I decided I’ve had enough and I’ll stay at the Hilton for a night. This changed my holiday from a stressful one to a romantic getaway I’ll never forget. The ambiance in every part of the hotel is designed to virtual perfection. A short rest in the comfortable room with a balcony inspired a poem. The good view even from this basic room set the mood for the evening. Then to the bar patio for a drink and talk with my beautiful gf in the comfortable night air. Before returning to the room we walked on the beach and did what was natural as the ocean waves provided a background. The next morning, breakfast on the patio with the morning song birds. Wow! Thanks Hilton and I’ll be back!

It is too expensive for little room comfort.
It is too expensive for little room comfort. Additionally I do not understand how come with that excessive room price they charge the Internet.

Beautiful Hotel, Semi Private Beach, Great Pool, what more can be asked for?
The hotel is located on the tip of the peninsula in Cartagena on a semi private beach that eliminates much of the annoyances of being accosted constantly by the various vendors working the beach area. The pool(s) are beautiful and very well kept, as are the hotel grounds. The rooms are very well kept, with modern ammenities, as well as a minibar and free coffee (always nice...). Hotel staff were all fluent in English making communication much easier for the novice latin linguist, and were all eager to please. Overall a very pleasant experience that I would love to repeat!
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Be sure to ask the front desk for a beachfront room when you check in. The view, plus the mostly private porch, make your stay that much more relaxing and luxurious.
