NEVER AGAIN!
Double charged for stay, paid through Expedia, then the hotel charged me, major credit card issues! Had my kids and there were "working women" in & out, because hotel is right by truck stop I am guessing. Plumbing problems, water all over floor in hallway on our floor, then our toilet clogged. We could smell marijuana in the hallways as well & there was a lady downstairs saying things were missing from her room! I WOULD ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!!!!!

Great One Night Stay
The La Quinta is a nice affordable option that is in close proximity to BWI. Room was clean and spacious and served our needs perfectly. Hotel staff was very accommodating. Late at night our toilet stopped flushing and upon reporting it to the front desk we were moved to another room. There are some fast food restaurants in walking distance from this hotel and more food, entertainment, and shopping choices are a short drive away into Columbia.

Review: LaQuinta Alexandria-South
Good hotel, responsive management, very nice bed, sheets, comforter, etc. Hotel was well- setup for a medium-sized workshopt that I attended. Main downside: hotel is not very accessible on foot or Metro. Few decent restaurants nearby. But hotel shuttle is cooperative for lift to Old Town.
