Want to be there again
My husband and me loved Queen Anne Hotel . Everything was excellent: services, location, people. The spirit of 19 century was the best! This is like trreveling in the past. Even we did not have modern conveniences (refrigerator, airconditioner, old TV) it was like the sign of the past. Only one small negative detail - when we check-out (our flight was at evening) we were charged for living our bagage for 3 hours in the hotel. It was first time when we paid for this convenience in american hotel.
Fall is the best time. Not too hot and not too cold. We bought tickets for open deck bus trip for 2 days. So we could see SF unlimited.

Charming Hotel!
I stayed at the Queen Anne several years ago and was delighted to return. The builing is beautifully furnished with antiques and has a style that no modern chain hotel can match. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the San Francisco area and is always helpful. Parts of the hotel have been updated (e.g., bathrooms) since I was last here, but very much in keeping with the hotels style.

Clean, comfortable, and unique accommodations!
My partner and I visited San Francisco for the first time in May of 2009 and we stayed at the Queen Anne Hotel in Pacific Heights. The location was in a pleasant, quiet neighborhood that lies close to many attractions of the city (Japantown, the marina, great shopping areas) and remains connected to SFs great public transportation that can easily escort you all over the bay area. Special to the Queen Anne is the complimentary town car service that will take you anywhere in the city you desire every weekday morning! The hotel itself was full of unique, antique artifacts, as well as a hospitable and warm staff. The continental breakfast was a favorite of ours, as we looked forward to waking each morning to the smorgasbord of delicious breakfast foods before we set out for the day. Overall, our stay at the hotel was quite a delight! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, unique, accommodating hotel in San Francisco.
