Great for visiting HBS!
This hotel is literally a block from HBS, but it’s a bit of a walk to anything else in Boston or Cambridge. My friend and I visited business schools, and this hotel was the perfect set-up. The suite allowed one of us to sleep while the other worked on a deadline project in the living room until 3 a.m. There was a little kitchenette with refrigerator for a longer stay, and a couple decent dining options in the hotel. Printing was free, 24-hours. The staff was friendly. We took taxis everywhere except HBS (e.g. into Cambridge, to visit MIT). Each taxi ride was about $10-15.

Not impressed
My overall experience of this hotel was not very impressive. I have stayed at several Doubletree hotels & was totally impressed. Found this hotel to be a little far out of town since we were there for leisure, shuttle service was on a set schedule which did not work for our schedule, Jazz club downstairs very loud, staff was very nice & helpful but seemed to be more catered towards the conference group that were staying in the hotel. Pool was also cold so over all not impressed at all would probable have checked into a different hotel if I hadn’t pre book this room

Great hotel, close to Harvard, without the Harvard prices. An eight minute ride takes you to Harvard Square. The suites provide additional confort.
