St Louis - Wouldn’t stay again
Hotel had great location, 1/2 block of Bourbon street, but that was it. Room was run down. TV (snowy), AC (broken), and Internet (signal with no internet connection) would not make for a valuable in room experience.Valet parking kind of high $30/day, lots of untold fee’s ($15/day). Staff was not to motivated to accomodate reported problems. My next trip I will choose a hotel with better staff, reviews and amenities that WORK.

was dissapointed
I booked this hotel for me and my husbands 16 year wedding anniversary. I have booked a hotel that is right across the street from this hotel many times before but thought that staying somewheres different may be nice. When we got to our room its smelled musty, i know that this hotel is a very old hotel but to walk into a room that smelled musty was a bit of a shock. Also the AC did not work, i callled the front desk and someone came to check it, when they were trying to figure it out i saw them jiggle some wires and when they did the ac came on and they gingerly placed the panel back on, i was soooo worried that it would just go off again in the middle of the night, and i voiced my concern and the person said just call us and we will come fix it. The bedding had stains on the comforter which worried me, it also had cigarette burn holes I guess in old hotel the walls are thin cause around 4 am the person in the next room sounded like they were trying to hack up a furball,and it seemed to go on for a loooong time not pleasant to hear in the early hours. the valet staff was wonderful and very attentive, parking in the quarter is not cheap, $30 a day. Well needless to say as much as i wanted this expierence to go well, we were disappointed and will stay at the hotel across the street as we have done before.

I would go back
This was a nice hotel. I would stay here again. Due to its age, the only problem was it took several minutes to get hot water in the shower. Otherwise, the staff was helpful, the location was great, and the breakfast in the courtyard was good.
