most reviews are incorrect
i was worried because most of the reviews are very negative about this motel. i was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. it was nice, clean, updated, the cafe was clean and the food was decent and the lounge had cheap cold beer. the front desk staff were extremely nice and very helpful, i would recommend this motel to anyone looking to stay at a safe clean fairly inexpensive room.

It was just ok accomodations-very friendly staff
This hotel was going through changes when we stayed there. Howard Johnsons had just purchased it and the "breakfast area" was under-construction and un-useable - due to this I believe they "down-sized" the breakfast offerings. Also please note, if you noticed the hotel says it has a "casino". What it has is two small areas with a few video poker machines as well as a bar area with a couple video poker machines- just so you know not to expect anything more. Also please be aware the location of this hotel is at a busy intersection. One thing that we did think was great was the shuttle service to the local casinos , which we used several times and the staff at the hotel was friendly.
