Okay
My husband and I stayed here because we were having work done on our house and couldnt use the water. This used to be the Sheraton, which back in the day was a pretty nice place. It is still okay, but you can tell that it hasnt had the upgrades that it needs. The room was fine, the bed was nice, but the carpet needs to be replaced (but we brought our dog so we were on a "pet-friendly" floor, maybe thats the reason for the shabby carpet). But the bathroom was so old, the surrounding tile in the shower really needed to be replaced and the shower head and water adjuster were from the 70s. Also, the door to the bathroom was about 3 inches off the ground, odd. Overall, it was clean and really cheap, it got the job done.
Mill Plain Road has a bunch of good restaurants, try Prespa, Spasi, Barca or Rraccis right over the border in Brewster.

Time for Some General Maintenance
I have used Danbury Plaza as a base location for business meetings during the past several years. The meetings generally last two to three days and this hotel is conveniently located next to I-84. During the past few years, the hotel has begun showing increased signs of wear and tear and maintenance issues, such as carpet stains and water damage to hallway ceilings and walls. The condition of my room was satisfactory, but it appears that the hotel requires some general maintenance.
