Stayed here before and will stay here again!
Nice place to stay. Friendly staff. Very happy they honored first floor requests. Hot tub could have been a little warmer. Continental breakfast could have used a little more variety. But overall, a great value for the extra amenities.

Service was not their priority this weekend
I was very disappointed with the service we received during our stay. I moved from Sault Ste. Marie 4 years ago and am VERY familiar with local hotels. I chose to stay here with my husband and 3 year daughter because of it’s amenities and past service. However, this visit was truly horrible because the restaurant server was rude and made us feel like we were an imposition and said so to a caller ( on 2 different occasions). The pool was ICE cold and no sign or notice was posted during check in to let us know that it would not be suitable or enjoyable (even after 3 days to warm up it was still not tolerable). My husband complained about the bed being uncomfortable...and I can understand his point as I did get out and sleep with our daughter and found her bed to be newer and with more support. Lastly, the room temperature can fluctuate quite a bit. The heater/AC is not easily regulated, so your room gets cold quickly when you turn off the heater and visa versa when you turn in on. All in all...you would do better to stay at another hotel with an indoor pool until they improve their service.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
If you have toddlers with you, the Station Mall has an Early Learning Centre near the Sears store. It is open from 9am-5pm daily and allows you to sit and play or read with your child in a safe and fun environment. They will also watch your child for a nominal fee while you shop in the mall. What a great place for little ones to play with other kids or spend quality time with an adult.
