great, but noisy location
Pros: great location, next to tivoli gardens, easily walkable to most all interesting sites, and right next to train/metro station; room was large, clean, with nice bathroom(shower no tub); free wifi in room-worked well, no problem accessing w iphone-; nice breakfast included, price was good esp for location. also, nice double drapes to block out sun of long summer days.Cons: room not really air conditioned, is a sort of air circulator system-told us to open window to get cool air-but you could hear the trains all nightlong; elevator old,(got stuck twice between floors!)use stairs; no early check in, but did hold our bags. overall, enjoyed stay and would recommend, but bring ear plugs, and dont expect american style a/c.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
be sure to see tivoli gardens in evening when light are on-magical! also, do canal tour at nyhavn-great way to get feel of city, and see exterior of many attractions. fun city to visit!

Great Overall Experience
Great location (we had a view of Tivoli Gardens). Outstanding accomodations. Suberb breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.
Traveler's tip on dining
Food is very expensive in "tourist areas" (i.e Nyhavn). Try to find a restaurant where only the "locals go". The Atlas Bar had superb food and was reasonable. It was actually recommended to us by a waitress at an expensive restaurant (in Nyhavn District) who was very honest about tourist traps. Hope her boss didnt hear her tell us to go to a more reasonable restaurant.

Already recommended to friends going to Copenhagen shortly.
This is a great hotel, great breakfast, great location, reasonable price, and with most helpful employees. Spent only two nights and wanted to see as much of the city as we could. Hotel staff with expert knowledge of public transportation, made it all possible. Also room was located around the corner from steady flow of traffic yet somehow it was unbelievably quiet.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Be sure to visit Tourist Information Center...its a stones throw from the hotel and a great place to start. PS: It was hard to avoid the coffee shop at the Center even with a full breakfast at the hotel.
