Double Bubble Trouble
The ice machine on my floor never worked the two days we were there and had to go to a different floor. The nice ceramic coffee mugs and glasses that were there on the first day disappeared and were replaced by paper cups. In the middle of our second night about 3am we had a huge amount of soap bubbles come up gurgling into our toilet and all over the floor from somewhere, maybe a party upstairs. It took an a long time for the maintenance guy to show up and then he just laid down some towels. Cookies are the currency of the hotel. Other than that our stay went swimmingly. Good location and it has been remodeled recently and the staff were helpful.

Very Nice
We only stayed overnight but the hotel staff was great and got us a room for an early check in. It was very nice.
Traveler's tip
It was especially nice to be so close to the train and a mall. We didn’t have to rent a care because we could just walk less than a block to the train and from there we could get to anywhere we wanted to go in Portland.

Great, Under-Staffed Front Desk
Great stay, except long wait (20+ minutes) to check-in and check-out. Clearly the front desk is severely understaffed, and there is poor crowd/line management as well (big crowd milling around, not clear if there’s one or multiple lines).
