Quiet, clean and comfortable. Close to the highway, Sedona and Flagstaff. There are many grocery stores around.

When I return I will stay there again

I arrived early tired from a long drive and they allowed me to check in before the regular time which I am most grateful for. I left the room as clean as possible to show them my thanks for their consideration. Great manager. I wish all hotels/motels were this considerate and kind. I will recommend all of my friends and clients to this particular hotel.

Good bang for the buck!

The hotel was well priced for what it is. Close to the University and town. Clean and quiet. Breakfast left much to be desired.but then, I wasn’t paying for a full breakfast.

Good Hotel

This hotel is an overall good one. The pros are that the staff is very friendly, it is pretty cheap, and the location is awesome! You’re right next to the IHOP and across the street from a mini-mall with a very popular sports bar. The negatives is that is wasn’t in the best of shape. They have a little jacuzzi that was broken while I was there, and it looks like it could use some remodelling. But I thought it was still worth the price in that it was quiet, comfortable, well priced and well located with a friendly staff.

Office staff error

Room was good - but after arriving back home, found the hotel had charged my credit card even though I had booked through Expedia. I called 3 times to get it straightened out and was promised each time that they had reversed the charges, but it still took a month to get it done. Didn’t understand and still don’t.

Great Value for a Flagstaff Hotel

This hotel still looks fairly new, inside and out. There are a number of similar-looking hotels within walking distance, but this one was much cheaper than the others in the area; that’s why I chose it. The best thing about it, for me, was that you can set the A/C to a specific temperature, rather than simply HI, LOW, etc. It made my room very comfortable. The worst thing was that the toilet ran all night long. I couldn’t hear it, though, unless I was in the bathroom. It just bothered me that it was wasting so much water. This hotel has a continental breakfast, but I walked to IHOP (next door) instead. Big mistake. I waited more than 30 minutes for four pancakes and they still got my order wrong. So don’t waste your time with IHOP; have the free continental breakfast at Days Inn instead. Overall, the hotel was a great value for Flagstaff. Nothing fancy, maybe even a little bit nicer than average... PLUS there’s no train noise in this area. I’d stay at this hotel again.

If continental breakfasts aren’t your thing, and you’re tired of Denny’s and IHOP, try Mike & Ronda’s (there’s two locations in Flagstaff) or the Country Host Restaurant. You get a lot of food at good prices. Plus, you’ll feel like a local. For dinner, you might want to try Black Bart’s Steak House on Butler Ave. Local NAU kids sing old timey songs and showtunes while you grub out. It’s something to experience at least once in your life.

The only comment I have is in the two nights I spend there they didn’t empty their outdoor trash. By the time I checked out the trash was overflowing the trash can and there was trash on the ground.

The hotel was ideally located to my son dorm room at NAU. There was all the shopping needed to install a new student into his dorm room within five minutes of the hotel.

Nice Stay

We were traveling all around Arizona and this was a nice place to stay - very convenient location-wise. Room was very clean and newly renovated.

Reasonable price, comfortable rooms

The price was reasonable and the rooms were comfortable. Location near I-40 always a plus, although the area immediately surrounding the hotel felt a little unsafe. Not a bad place to stay just passing through for the night.

Breakfast Area could improve and be a little cleaner.But for the price it is okay.Air conditioner was a little erratic.Hotel is in a nice area.First room I was assigned smelled of Urine but the staff was very nice and accommodating and moved us to a another room which was nice and clean.Over all for the price it was okay.

Not - NO SMOKING

This hotel was convenient to where we were going for the day. We asked for a non-smoking king bed room. When we arrived we were given a king bed room and the sign on the door indicated a no-smoking room. However the room smelled of smoke, and they did not offer to change it. Instead, I was given a spray bottle of odor eliminator to get rid of the smell. I would caution any one going to this hotel to beware. It certainly was not a no smoking hotel as indicated.

Just soso

Some smoke smell in the room even the sign said no smoking. Seems some problem with power. You could not use Microwave Oven and Toaster at the same time during breakfast. It will cause power shortage. Close to grocery store and some fast food restaurants. Too Close to I-40, some trunks make huge noise

The woman who checked me in didn’t in any way make me feel welcome or wanted; instead, I felt I was keeping her from more important things. Other than that, the hotel was fine.

Very Happy with stay

This was my first stay at this hotel in Flagstaff. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. I was not looking for the ritz, but this was a great value for my money. The breakfast did leave a little to be desired. I will stay again if the need arises.

If you need some small items Wal-mart and Basha’s are right across the street.

stay was just ok

When arriving, desk was less than enthusiastic. The hallway smelled like wet carpet. Light in bathroom did not work, but housekeeping had it fixed right away. The hotel was at capacity, therefore when we went down to the lobby at 7AM, there was no room or breakfast so we went to restraunt.

Very nice clean Hotel

i was there for nau - very close to the school and easy to find. my room was clean, it had a small fridge, tv, clock. i stayed for 5 days and they kept it clean everyday. a great place to stay - bed is good. enjoy!

there is great mexican food across the street from target. it is at the end of the L shaped strip.

Above Average...

Good, convenient location, quiet, and efficient. Staff were very nice and there is a grocery store right across the street.

Good hotel for a budget

It’s not a super nice hotel, but the beds are pretty comfortable and the rooms are clean. It’s a good hotel for the price and if you’re not looking for anything special, this place is for you! The bathroom shower head is awesome, while in some rooms it can be rusty. This was my second time staying at this hotel, and I would definitely recommend it to others!

This hotel is perfectly fine for a low-priced place to spend the night. It is difficult to find, however, from the available instructions; call ahead to get detailed help locating it.

Average - but we weren’t there to hang out in the room all day. It was a place to rest our heads after a long day sight seeing. The bathrooms could have used a little more attention and the rugs need a good cleaning - my socks were pretty gross just from walking around in the evening.

Must do: Historic 89A from Flagstaff, through Sedona and Cottonwood, up through Jerome and over to Prescott - Awesome scenic drive, not for those who fear heights.

Mediocre, but it had coffee in the room

My wife wanted a place with coffee in the room, near the NAU campus, so I chose this one. It was pretty typical of an inexpensive Flag hotel, with the added advantage of being far enough away from the tracks so that there was no train noise. Cleanliness was a bit iffy, since there was a suspicious looking stain on the fabrick of the upholstered chair in the room and the trash can outside the rear door was never emptied the whole time we were there. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay near the campus that had no train noise and coffee in the room.

Clean hotel

Hotel was clean and nice. I only wish that these places could upgrade their breakfast choices. I need protein in the mornings so toast and cereal do not work for me - even hard boiled eggs would be easy and cheap. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again.
