just the basics

At first, I was almost scared to stay here, but it turned out alright. The shower was the best part of the stay. The sheets had cigarette burns in them, but were clean. There was a microwave and a little fridge. The TV was nice.

Terrible place to stay

Door lock wouldn’t work. Replaced it and it still didn’t work. Moved me to a different room. Sheets had cigarette burn holes in them.

If you need a roof, bring your own sheets

We had a problem with our original reservations and ended up at the Budget Inn by waiting until a week before the Indianapolis 400. Someone was asking for their money back when we drove up. We brought our own sheets after reading Expedia reviews, and I was thankful. Our room was on the 2nd floor, and the walkway outside the door is not structurally sound. Everything smells. Would not stay here with children. Ok for a desperate weekend if you plan to see the town.

Traveler's tip on nightlife

Broad Ripple Avenue has a lot of college-type bars and was the only place where we found a concentration of nightlife.
