A Good Hotel
I was satisfied with the hotel. The employees were very helpful. I was in that area for the very first time for my newphews graduation from the Marine Corps and the staff helped me with directions and it was very close to the base. I will definitely stay there next time I’m in that area. The neighborhood was not that great but it is expected for that part of town. The hotel made it all better.

Great hotel - Great location
This hotel is a bargain when bought through Expedia, expecially considering the cost of hotels in San Diego. It is comfortable and clean, with a King size bed, and has both a refrigerator and microwave . The hot tub is both clean and hot, and the breakfast is very adequate. We stayed a week, so the scrambled eggs got a little tiresome, but there were add on choices. You cannot beat the location in terms of restaurants and shopping, as well as quick access to freeways and bus. We go every year, and I will not stay anywhere else. There is a slight cleaning odor to the room, but we got used to it.
Our favorite location, beachwise, is Mission Beach. There is always a place to park near the roller coaster, and there is good walking in either direction. You can also walk on the bayside, by simply crossing the main throughfare.
