Very Good Hotel with Major Flaw
Cream tea and scones are served free in your room or downstairs in the lounge between 3 and 5 pm. I took advantage of it both nights I was there and it was very good and relaxing. From 5 - 7 they have an open free bar at the front desk. The location of the hotel is excellent. Close to Harrods, the tube, Hyde Park, and museums. My only complaint is a big one. I checked in to room 10. When I came back a few hours later, they had moved all my stuff to room 12 without my approval or knowledge. I was told they made a mistake and I should have been checked in to room 12. They are both the same price, but #10 is much nicer than #12. It is also bigger with more amenities and much more comfortable. I was told they called me to let me know about the move, but they called my home in California!!! I believe they owe me an apology and I’m waiting for it. With that big exception, it was a very nice hotel and the staff overall was very good.
Traveler's tip
It’s very easy to take the tube from Heathrow Airport on the Picadilly to Kightsbridge station. The walk to the hotel is only three blocks. You walk alongside Harrods to Brompton Rd then turn left and its about two streets down. Don’t get Beaufort Garden Apts mixed up with the hotel.

Convenient location
Room is small and many stairs to climb. Location is convenient at Knightsbridge. Free soft drink policy and wi-fi access is good. so called Junior suite is actually a bigger room with sofa and extra small desk..unexpected `suite` definition !

Love the Hotel
I’ve stayed at the Beaufort several times over the past 6 years. The staff is wonderful!!!! I love the "living room" with a free bar in the evenings. The location is excellent. Can’t imagine staying anywhere else when visiting London. Only two issues to note. Room #1 can be a bit noisy as it is below the "living room"/hotel entrance. Also, the landing/staircase and downstairs hall leading to room #1 should be kept clear.
Traveler's tip
Take the Piccadilly line from Heathrow to the Knightsbridge stop. Lets you off right at Harrod’s. The hotel is only 2 or 3 blocks away. It the most inexpensive way into London.
