Excellent service, great location
I’ve stayed at adler on september 2009, it’s a very nice hotel very near train station just one block. As soon as you get out the train turn to your right and cross the street the next street turn to your right again and walk like 200 mt there is the hotel. The breakfast is great with lots of things!!!. I’ve arrive pretty early in the morning and they let me do the check in so i can get the best of florence. Really nice staff and english speaking.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
I’ve made the reservations to the museums with the hotel but they charge 17 euros for each, if you can go and buy your tickets direct in the museums those are cheaper, just do it early. In the same street of the hotel (at the corner) you can buy very good paninis for 2-4 euros.

Great location and Friendly Staff
We had 2 nights in Florence and this hotel was great. It’s location, right next to the train station was great. The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

decent but smoky
good value, great location Room - Single Bedroom - clean, small, tiny bed. Strong smell of cigarette smoke in the evenings from under the door or via ventilation. Bathroom - clean, good water pressure. Heat / A/C - heat worked fine. View - none from my room. Location - close to train station, also there is a laundromat next door. About a 10 minute walk to the city center. Internet - generally fast.
