Funeral Visit
was in town for Aunt’s funeral, staff made it a comfortable trip considering reason for visit.

would stay here again
The Jameson is close to everything! Easily found off 465 and within easy distance to major shopping and specialty stores. Had a great time. Altho breakfast is just OK...it is included and I did use the exercise room to work off the extra calories.

Customer Service does not exist at the Jameson Inn
After getting into the room I noticed that there were only 2 bath towels and 3 people staying. I called down to the front desk and asked if I could please have 2 bath towels sent up to which the man replied, "There are some at the front desk, you can come down and get them". I was dumbfounded. Also, the next morning I went down for breakfast and there was a chunk of waffle laying on the floor where everyone could see, when I walked back through the area 3 hours later the same piece of waffle was still on the ground. Upon leaving, we did a thorough check under the desk, in drawers and under covers to make sure we had all of our belongings, to which we found a large jar of petroleum jelly at the foot of the bed. When I went to check out at the front desk, I was never asked how my stay was. In fact, the man took my room cards and then said, "you’re all set". Not even "how was your stay" or "have a nice day" was muttered. I have stayed at "lesser" hotels and received far greater customer service and cleanliness.
