More like a three star not five
Although the pictures and lobby look nice, the rooms and baths need renovations. The beds are like sleeping on plywood. Not comfortable. Location is too far from Sorrento 1/2 hour walk. Stay in Sorrento there are not enough shuttles offered. The only saving grace was the local festa the week we stayed. Front desk staff are helpful some of the breakfast waiters were rude and did not practice hygience. I lost my appetite when one tall waiter with glasses sneezed on his hand and proceeded to serve a guest coffee. there are better options
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Taxi cost 20 euro to Sorrento. Day trips to Capri and Positano are a must.

Get the half board meal plan
A little further away from the Sorrento marina then we thought but there is a shuttle bus and also a train that is easy to catch. Staff was very helpful and the publis areas of the hotel are beautiful. We were a little concerned about eating at the hotel each night but the food and service were really exceptional. Make sure you spend some time in the town of Sant’Agnello it is much less touristy then Sorrento or Capri.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Take the train out of Sant’Agnello to travel to Pompeii, it much easier and a lot less expensive then other options. Drivers are crazy there.

Good Value.
Probably because it was a weekend I got a very good rate. The rate suggested that it was low because of the (lack of) view -- the view was certainly OK. I liked the bar, even though the poor thing was empty. I stayed away from the restaurant because it looked like it was full of pre-paid tourist bus folks, not a good sign for a good meal. Instead, I took the hotel bus to Sorrento. I am not clear why this bus seems to offend other respondents, it seemed fine to me. The air-conditioning in my room did not work. But hey, it’s Italy. And the room was really very nice. Perhaps a little more sound insulation would be good? But really, this is not a noisy place!
