WOW! What view!
Spotlessly clean hotel just across a narrow street to St. Peter’s Basillica. If you are looking for the best location to stay while visiting the Vatican, you can not beat this hotel. Very quiet at night. EXCELLECT service from all the staff members. You will not be disapointed. If you are looking for a luxury room with lots of space, you may be disapointed. We stayed in the most affordable room, but there was ample space for two. Plenty of very nice affordable restaurants down the street.I would return there without hesitation.

A great small hotel
This little hotel is very well located beside St. Peter’s square and the Vatican. It is clean, well-appointed and very comfortable. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is within easy walking distance from the historic centre of Rome (which is just across the Tiber river). The hotel is also within easy walking distance form a number of small restaurants (trattorias) serving great food at reasonable prices.

Surprise
This hotel was an upside surprise. Literally a stone’s throw from St. Peter’s, we were woken by the bells in the AM to look out over a quiet green courtyard. A full breakfast was served in a very elegant dining room upstairs, and there’s an outdoor terrace, beautifully planted, for drinks and light snacks in the evening--with the added bonus of the view over the piazza and cathedral. Very courteous staff, small but spanking clean room with every amenity a frugal traveler could hope for.
