Comfortable and clean
Very small room, but new king-size bed was very comfortable and room was very clean. Virtually no storage space in bedroom or bathroom. Close enough to Bryce Canyon for a daily drive.

Marianna Hotel
I found the Marianna to be both friendly and clean. The courtyard could do with a bit of a tidy, but generally a pleasant place to stay for a night -- especially if youre visiting the local parks. Red Canyon at sunset, just a few miles away, is spectacular.

Motel Hell
This was by far the worst place we have ever spent a night. The facade looked quaint enough (especially after being scared off by the other motel appearances in the town), but the pleasantness wore off as soon as we entered the room. Through the evening, we were constantly disgusted to discover sheets and towels that had not been changed, which was demonstrated by fresh-looking stains on the sheets and actual dirt on the towels (although the towels had been folded nicely for display). We heard every step the neighbors took in their room, and we were very nervous about people being able to enter our room, since the door didnt even fit the frame properly, and we were unsure of the safety of a rather primitive lock. The one person we found at the front desk was no help either. When we asked for extra pillows, she asked us to come back in 15 minutes after she finished a personal phone call. When we did return for the pillows, she placed special emphasis on the fact that she put on clean pillowcases. The next morning we attempted to talk with someone about the state of our room, but the front door of the reception was locked, and no employee answered the bell. All in all, I would never return to this motel, and I would certainly not recommend this motel to anyone who values cleanliness, safety, and common sense.
Traveler's tip on dining
Since the motel had no breakfast, we breakfasted at the cafe across the street. It was quaint, with hearty food and good service.
