Poor Hotel
Not at all what we expected. The entire hotel was very outdated! We were excited to see the hotel had an indoor pool for our kids (we stayed in the fall), however soon found out the outdoor pool was actually located at the health club down the road! I’m not sure what their definition is of "located in a rural setting." It was NOT rural! We ended up staying an hour and then left. We stayed at a 4 star hotel in San Antonio for about $40 more!

Very nice stay
We were pleasantly surprised at how quaint the pool areas were. Lush with trees, well kept, and little "patios" outside of each room that overlooked the pool area. The staff was very attentive and kind. The breakfast buffet looked amazing, but we didn’t have time this trip. There was a little adjoining bar with a live country band and dancing. So many cowboys! It was adorable! We’ll definitely come back to enjoy all that Inn of the Hills has to offer!
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
We kayaked on the Guadalupe River at the Kerrville Schnreiner Park. It was soooo nice! You must try it.

Favorite hotel in Kerrville
This is definitely our favorite hotel in Kerrville- usually priced too high, however, so we jumped at the chance to stay there when they had the Expedia internet sale.
