Great Staff
We loved the staff! The woman behind the front desk directed us to a GREAT spot - Pike’s Peak. Our waitress was great and so patient with our big group splitting our checks - very confusing, but she was lovely. The woman in the breakfast room was very sweet and on top of keeping everything in supply. The only drawback is that we somehow ended up in a really smelly smoking room. I didn’t even think they had those anymore. The front desk gave us a good spray and luckily the windows opened. And the fresh, warm cookies are always a nice touch.

Friendly Staff!
Staff at the hotel were so friendly! Beds were quite hard, but it was a great place with warm, fresh cookies to greet us when we came in!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
We used Prairie du Chein as a home base while we traveled, on motorcycles, to Galena, IL. It was a beautiful ride!
